Sound: Diegetic and non-diegetic and how it is used with visual elements. 3. Character 4. Mise-en-scene 5. Narrative structure: How the opening is constructed to create suspense.
This exercise has to be done so that you are aware of the CODES AND CONVENTIONS of the thriller opening. You need to identify these in your research so that you can say how you are using them in your own production.
