The 180 degree rule is used to let the audience clearly see that everyone in the shot is sitting on the same side and not switiching side's when they go to a diffrent shot. If they are sitting on the left of one character they always have to be to the left of that charcter.
Match on action
A match on action, a technique used in film editing, is a cut that connects two different views of the same action at the same moment in the movement.
shot reverse shot
A shot of the viewer and then the viewed by the person which is viewing.
