Evaluation of prelim task

1)
In are short film we used editing techniques such as 180 degree rule however we did make some mistake during filming. So when we were editing we had to filp the film so that it kept to the rule.
We added a title to show the information which is reqired.
During time we had editing we took out at least 3 mins of film which was not required because we had filmed it more than once and we had chosen the best one.

2)
Because of my placement in year 10 work experiance (purple recording studios) i had the exerience of using a camera and edititing although at the studios we used a diffrent type of edititing suit so it was an experiance using a diffrent system.

3)
Original Brief: “Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.”

In our perlimenary task we had Amy walking through a door with Dan (me) sitting in a chair directly oposite from the door Amy walks through. We then had a short coversation about "Sherbert". During the conversation we mangered to use all three camera shots and techniques.
Although we worked quite well as a grope we should of filmed some extra shots just in case we didnt mange to get the shots we wanted.
